2) THIS WEEKS JOB ROLE
You will play the role of Product Mange for Thundware Games, a software company that makes games for teenagers. Keep the following information in mind as you work through the lessons.
JOB RESPONSIBLITIES& GOALS: As the product manaer, you are responsible for overseeing a game, from design and programming through marketing and sales. Your job entails scheduling, projecting sales numbers and writing correspondence to team members and customers.
THE PROJECT; You are managing a new product called Typhoon!. In this lesson, you will work on the production schedules an sales research for co-workers. You'll also write and customize a form letter and e-mail message to send to a group of people.
THE CHALLENGE AHEAD; First you must create a master schedule and plan the work hours for each department. Next you'll work on a sales research document tracking sales in order to project future sales. Finally, you'll turn your focus to marketing and create a form letter to send the game distributors.
