STUDENT EXPECTATION: Write on Family Tree Handout
(1) Father's personal story
EX: My father came from Cerritos, San Luis Potosi
and his greatest achievement has been to raise his eight children and have all of them graduate from high school. I am proud to say my father worked 12-16 hours a day sometimes driving 1/2 across the state to work on dam's in Washington State. However, he never made us move so we all graduated from the same Elementary, Middle School & High School. It was very important to not pull us out of school, so that meant he had to drive 3-4 hours each way and get home late. Sacrifice and a strong work ethic are some of the values my father has taught me and I have taught my children. Think of stories your parents have shared.
(2) Mother's personal story
My mom has faith that can move mountains. Patience of a saint and I am proud to say she is the "perfect mother". She always sacrificed never buying anything for herself while she was raising all eight children. My mothers faith is the greatest lesson she has taught me and I continue to share with my children. I work on my patience daily, hoping to someday be 75 and maybe by then have 1/2 the patience of my mother.
